The Technology Charge is a weblog about consumer technology, with a focus on Apple and its competitors.

A little about me, myself and I

I’m 16. Aside from technology, my primary interests lie in acting, filmmaking, writing and sports. Though I love me some good show tunes, my favorite musician in the whole wide world is Kanye West, the antiSwift. To me, the best movies are the darkly comedic crime capers Quentin Tarantino and the Coen brothers were involved with in the 90s. I think of Apple, Inc. as an extension of my personality. The words of Kurt Vonnegut and Joseph Heller are extensions of my brain.

In my opinion, the NBA died the day Michael Jordan left the Bulls. As far as I’m concerned, Michael Jordan died that day too. I’m a fan of the worst best team in English soccer, Liverpool FC. Soccer is the best game there is, but college basketball is the most exciting.

I love the feeling of waking up early in the morning and realizing that I still have a couple hours of sleep left. I don’t prefer tea over coffee or coffee over tea; both drinks are awesome, and either will do.

And finally, I believe that good technology, in combination with creativity and the liberal arts, changes lives. Great technology combined with the same things changes the world.
